This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.This is probably one of the only File Shredding programs for Mac (at least the only one that's free), which is part of the reason I give it a decent rating. With all the scams and hackers out there today, it is important to make sure any important data is removed from your harddrive safley so it dosn't fall into the wrong hands. DestoryerX deletes everything by shredding the file which is a lot safer that just using the standard deleting methods. It has over four levels of sicurity to shred files with with an easy and friendly interface. All you really have to do is drag, point and click.The one downside is that it leaves behind the name of the file it last shredded which isn't that safe, even though the original file itself is gone. A good tip for this is to change the file name to something less inciminating before you get rid of it.In all a fair program. Although I'm sure it could be better. Looking forward to future updates.
