"easy to install"

Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.I have used several TeX-implementations, but the switch to OSX was not easy. I tried teTeX, which was horribly difficult to adapt to my needs (in fact, I never managed). CMacTeX, while having a less fancy user interface than TeXshop for example, is so well-documented that it is not difficult to get it working, or to add fonts, other packages, and so on. Software support is excellent, too, I received immediate answers to my questions. There is a ps and pdf conversion, eTeX is supported, and a html-conversion utility. I have been more than pleased.
