This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.I would like to counteract the negative reviews from people who have used this app with a cracked password and then complain that it doesn't work well - The dev has made it clear on many occasions that using it with a dodgy password will make the program become unstable.Using a crack to avoid payment, then rubbishing the product (and advising other not to buy!) shows a breathtaking arrogance.As for SMP, I use it regularly - It's well laid out and simple to use. For all that it's just a midi player, it allows the user to change patches, tempo, key and completely re-mix the track - which can then be re-saved.I find it particularly useful for singers - I send 'em a midi file - they find the best key and tempo and send the updated file back to me - The song is then fully prepared on the studio DAW for them to do the vocals.
