Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator and is the only SNES emulator available for MacOS X. Various flavors of this popular emulator exist for OSX today, however Zones version is currently the official version. This port was originally done by John Stiles, but Zones has taken up where Stiles left off.
