This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.Got the drivers and card on Friday. The driver works fine. 3 Stars for the Ver 1.0 Looking forward to additional features.I'm using it with Bell Canada's CDMA 1x network on a 15" TiBookI'm very pleased Stretched Out has produced this driver. It's too bad Sierra is too dumb to have produced or licensed the drivers themselves.Despite being set up with driect access to developer support in Cupertino, Sierra was unwilling or unable to update their firmware or produce drivers on their own.I'd prefer that Bell Canada support a manufacturer that actually cared about the Mac.Apparently the Merlin C201 has Mac drivers, but they don't return calls or email either. Which puts them in the same league of morons. The driver works well but;Having to find a friend with a Wintel Notebook in order to register the card is a pain in the ...The card only works in the Mac once it has been registered in a PC.Convincing a friend to let you install software on his notebook so you can register your card isn't the best possible solution. Particularly if you don't have a friend with a WinTel PC.The card appears as a modem to the Mac, and not as a network interface card, so there is no way currently to get signal status, and little utilities like how much data you have transferred is not yet available. And of course if you call your carrier for help and tell them you are using the card with a Mac, be prepared for a long argument with some tech support droid.
