EasyCrop for Mac lets you make basic image edits like cropping and rotating, and then use the resulting image without the need to save it. This premium application comes with a free trial and accepts graphics stored in a file as well as embedded in a Web site. A great feature is the destination drawer, which allows you to export your newly created image to up to five other apps.

The main interface for EasyCrop for Mac feels somewhat uninspired, but it's not hard to get around it; there are two main sections for the source and final image, accompanied by some commonly used features and a toolbar. The app aims to be accessible even to the novice user, and thanks to its extensive drag-and-drop support, it succeeds. In addition to loading images from files, the software allows you to drag graphics out of Web sites and drop them in the app to begin editing. During the editing process you can flip the image, freely rotate it, constrain it, and then crop it. The end result can be saved as a JPG, PNG, TIFF, or GIF with various quality options like sharpening and compression.
