I have been using ImageMagick in various forms for over 10 years. It is robust, amazingly bug free, fast, and has a huge suite of capabilities. I can say with absolute certainty, the problem here is with the end-user, not the software. The code is beautifully designed and thoroughly tested. It is at the very pinnacle of coding standards and execution.
