With Piranesi for Mac OS X, architects and designers can start with simple models and renderings, and use Piranesi's patented "3D Painting" technology to quickly fill in missing detail and produce artistic, hand-drawn effects. Piranesi images can be produced from 3DS or DXF models; in addition, many popular Macintosh 3D applications such as Art*lantis, CINEMA 4D, form*Z, and LightWave provide direct interfaces. SketchUp version 3.1 (due later this year) will also have a direct interface, and other applications are expected to follow suit.
