The built-in scheduler automatically sends recurring scheduled mails, based either on fixed dates or on variable dates (x days after a particular user subscribed to a mailing list). The self-service remote user management is a unique feature of STAR Desktop Mailings, because it enables you to have your own mailing lists with online subscription capabilities - but without the hazzle of server-sided components. STAR Desktop Mailings uses its own e-mail account to take subscriptions and list removals. Permisson marketing based upon opt-in and opt-out methods is supported. Users can even request and edit their profile data, just like with a "common" mailing list solution. However - no scripts or apps on your server are required, no personal data needs to be store in the cloud.
