This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.I have had no problems at all with 3.0.6 and X 10.4.8, except for rare slowing down of web pages. After trying Privoxy, I downloaded the Vidalia/Tor/Privoxy package and installed it.That combination blocks ads and banners and enables anonymous proxy connections.
