This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.I'm so confused. I downloaded and installed version 7.16 months ago. As I was downloading this I I loaded up my version and sure enough it says 7.16.My biggest complaint about this software is that it is prone to crash. Not only that, it NEVER exits correctly. After I quit the program I ALWAYS get a crash notice.I bought a Microtek scanner because I have had great success with them in the past, and this scanner is great. It's the software that is garbage. I wonder when these people are going to get things together. I avoid scanning whenever possible because this software is so bad. and I thought it was BETTER than Umax's software! Can someone please direct me to a scanner/software that is good!I don't even know if I should install this latest version.
