This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.For those of you who think that a $300 financial program like Quickbooks written for non-professional people is a complete suite of tools for today's professional photograper, I can only assume you are not really in the industry. This program packs the power, punch, and flexibility to track sales, client data, taxes, invoicing, estimating, stock imagery and on and on all at the push of a button. Yes the learning curve is tough, but so is the learning curve of any good software tool out there. If you are not tracking your jobs and money with PIE - you are missing the most critical tool of today's professional photographer. No other program on the market has the power and cross platform - multiuser capability of PIE. I have been using PIE for more than 10 years. No other program for photographers, written by a photographer that speaks our language and the industry language so powerfully has been able to keep their program updated and working.
